Falmouth

The maritime town of Falmouth offers loads of things to do for both adults and families, with a wealth of attractions like the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Trebah Gardens, and regular sailing events. The town also prides itself on its local produce – particularly its seafood – and its selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs certainly won’t disappoint. The River Fal offers visitors a huge selection of outdoor activities, from walking and cycling to sailing and kayaking.

Looe and Polperro

The picturesque town of Looe and nearby Polperro village thrive on fishing. A must-visit for foodies, the choice of cafes and restaurants offering local produce is extensive. The sandy beaches are the perfect location for a family day out by the sea, while the sea itself offers boating, snorkelling and a wealth of other water sports.

St Austell

The large town of St Austell and nearby St Austell Bay are firm family favourites.
