Its central location deep in the heart of England allows it to be the perfect destination for both spur of the moment and thoroughly planned holidays.

There are plenty of cities to enjoy: Charles Darwin’s hometown of Shrewsbury; a designated World Heritage Site, Ironbridge, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and visit the Roman city of Wroxeter, where you can follow the famous trail of King Arthur.

Shropshire is great for shopping, with more than 20 fantastic market towns to enjoy. The county is a great promoter of local produce and there are numerous fantastic restaurants serving up a variety of culinary delights.
