Located in the heart of Perranporth, the Perranzabuloe Museum offers a fantastic environment for families where they can learn all about Perranporth and the surrounding villages’ fascinating history. The museum covers many topics from wartime activities in the area to the parish’s rich mining history, and even explores the agricultural history of the land. Along with all the original displays, the museum has added three new features for 2015, including a display dedicated to Winston Graham, the author of Poldark who lived in Perranporth for 34 years.

Price: The museum is free to visitors but for those wishing to become “Friends of the Museum” there is a £10 annual membership fee. Although the museum is free donations are appreciated.

Opening times: Open from Easter until October, weekdays from 10:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 11am to 1pm.
