When the sun is shining there are few places more astonishingly beautiful than Ireland. Known for overcast skies and incessant drizzle, every bright sunny day in Ireland feels like a gift, and one that is brightly wrapped in the brightest paper at that!

Achill Island is the largest island off the coast of Ireland and is connected to mainland County Mayo by the Michael Davitt Bridge. The island is of both historical and cultural interest, with a history stretching back to the first inhabitants of 3000BC and a thriving Irish speaking population today, this paired with Achill’s breathtaking beauty makes it the perfect place for a cottage holiday in Ireland.
