Sykes Cottages have been getting well and truly into the spirit of Comic Relief by fundraising for this fantastic cause. Here at Sykes Cottages HQ we have been raising money for this worthy cause and so far we have raised more than £120 and counting!

For the past two days we have been holding an ever popular bake sale here at Sykes Cottages HQ, with donations to the sale including some fantastic homemade custard slices, a decadent chocolate cherry gateau and a delicious tea loaf. There are plenty of hints, tips and guides available on the Comic Relief website if you fancy holding a bake sale of your own.

We have also been raising money with our very own sweepstake by guessing the date and weight of a pregnant colleague’s immanent new arrival. Our mum to be is very pleased that her unborn baby is already raising money for charity!

If our fundraising efforts have inspired you to raise money for Comic Relief there is still time to get involved before Red Nose Day, next Friday 15th March. You can visit the Comic Relief website where there are lots of ideas on how you can ‘do something funny for money’ this year.

So what will you and your friends be doing for Red Nose Day? Why don’t you tell us what you have planned on our Facebook page?
