Anglesey – the perfect place for a family walk

Anglesey is a lovely place for enjoying a family walk. Although taking on the whole 124 miles of the Anglesey Coastal Path may be a little too much, the coastal paths provide relatively flat walking opportunities that are great for a family day out. Rhoscolyn on the north west of Anglesey is a particularly lovely place to head to. What could be better? Sit amongst the sand dunes and marshes and enjoy a family picnic. The kids will be in their element on their very own private beach.

Stunning Anglesey beaches that the kids will love!

One of the most popular beaches in Anglesey is Trearddur Bay. This stunning bay has been a tourist hotspot for years and it’s so easy to see why. On a warm day, the beautiful sandy beach is packed with families making the most of the sunshine. The sand is lovely and clean and the shallow sea is a great place for the children to paddle. Just bring along your buckets and spades and your beach mats and you are all set for a lovely day on the beach. There are plenty of places where you can buy an ice cream, then just lie back whilst the kids play in the sand and watch the sea glistening on the horizon.
