Visit the Old Mill and Old Forge, not forgetting the Museum of Witchcraft, filled with everything spooky. Trace the steps of Thomas Hardy - many of his poems are set in Boscastle. Then fast-forward to the flash floods of 2004 - a natural disaster that's shaped Boscastle's more recent history.
Walks range from invigorating hikes along the coastal path to leisurely rambles in the secluded Valency Valley. Join a fishing trip from the harbour. Surf the waves at Polzeath.
