Cottages in Budock Water
Surrounded by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in a quiet,
relaxing location just two miles west of Falmouth, our holiday
cottages in Budock Water are great for winter breaks and summer
stays.
This small, traditional village is lucky to still have a church,
a general stores-cum-Post Office and also a pub and there's a
real community feel about the place, with a lively carnival in
August and a good gathering of folk around the bar and in the beer
garden at the Trelowarren Arms.
Beautiful beaches near Budock Water
Stride out from your Budock Water holiday rental and head for
the coast. Popular with families, Swanpool Beach is a lovely sandy
cove where you can swim, sail or brush up on your kayaking skills.
A bouncy castle keeps little faces smiling during the summer
months, while the beachside café offers tasty treats and
ice-creams. Any birdlife enthusiasts take note that Swanpool Lake
(behind the beach) is home to swans, tufted ducks, kingfishers and
around 100 other feathered friends. Or try Maenporth Beach, another
fantastic sandy bay that's great for swimming, beachcombing and
boating.
Walk to the great maritime port of Falmouth - around two miles along the
coastal path from our Budock Water holiday lettings. Think sailing,
regattas, angling, pleasure cruises - the Duck Tour is great fun -
and a stack of water sports. You'll also find restaurants and
wine bars, galleries and museums, live music, cinema, aquarium and
the National Maritime Museum.
What else? Golf, boating on the Helford River, Pendennis Castle,
Glendurgan Garden, Trebah Gardens - and your welcoming holiday home
in Budock Water to greet you each night!
