National Trust's unique Steam Yacht Gondola will take you on a
tour of the lake, with the option to combine your trip with a visit
to Brantwood (Ruskin's lakeside home), or with a walk to Tarn
Hows (seasonal dates vary). Otherwise step aboard the Coniston
Launch, with sailings to Brantwood, Torver and the Waterhead
Hotel.
For splendid lake views, stride out into the surrounding fells
or climb to the top of the 'Old Man'. Following a day's
adventure, you'll find everything you need in the way of shops,
eateries and watering holes in Coniston village.

Festival!

Water Festival, an iconic local event opening with a duck race
(around 1,000 rubber ducks enter!) and culminating with a grand
'It's a Lakes Knockout'.
