Lots of kitchen equipment, plenty of fridge/freezer storage and games and stuff for the kids! Two TV's good signal, WiFi and EE phone signal very good! Would definitely recommend, and would use this place again! Couple of issues which we communicated to the owners, but all in all a lovely Christmas week was enjoyed by all.

They were very informative, showing us around the property and explaining everything. The farmhouse itself we found to be full of character and charm. We had everything we needed, yes there are one or two things that could do with upgrading, but that's all part of it. We were warm comfortable, and it is very dog freindly. An abundance of bathrooms and bedrooms to choose from, comfortable seating areas, we had the wood burner on in the formal dining room, which was so cosy. We will book again. All in all we all had a wonderful week,so thank you

More attention needed for issues like spare bulbs, cooker hood and microwave. Plenty of space for large group. Comfort of communal area was great. Location fantastic. Loved the jets! Had a great family holiday.

We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that you had a pleasant stay. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the oven hood and will ensure to address it promptly on Saturday during the changeover. We understand that the microwave can be a bit tricky to use, being a combination one, and have taken note of this for future guests and will look to replace it. We do keep spare bulbs in a drawer on one of the tables. We are always available to assist you in any way possible, and please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you require any help. We had a great time making use of the hot-tub and the outside space as the weather was beautiful. As we were a large group, having multiple large communal spaces was great, as we could separate out or all fit into the same room together. It was a very peaceful stay, although also great to watch planes flying down the valley. As well as making use of the lovely house, we also used it as a base to explore the local area, which has lots of lovely walks. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating!

  • "We really really loved the cottage, it was spacious and full of character."

When we arrived the owners were lovely and the cottage was clean to a high standard. The hot tub was new and was great. There are some things that would improve guests stays. More comfortable mattresses on the beds and cushions on the chairs and bench around the kitchen table. There was no barbecue to cook outside and the house really lacked garden furniture in both lower and upper gardens. The upper gardens had great views and it would have been nice to have sat up there in the early mornings and evenings.

Thank you for providing feedback for Ysgubor, we do appreciate it and take all feedback seriously. Thank you for your kind words about the cottage. We are glad you enjoyed it as much as we do. We do have cushions on the kitchen chairs and there is ample seating outside for all parts of the garden, we will look to provide some more seating at the top of the garden as mentioned. Because of recent heat waves, the BBQ is now available on request only, so holiday makers can be made aware of the fire risk. Thank you again for your feedback. Property Owner

The owners Mr and Mrs Evans were lovely they were so very welcoming and certainly made you feel at home from the start. Outside the views are spectacular and whether you are an ardent hiker or just going for a walk with the kids there are some great places to explore. The walk into Dinas Mawddwy was lovely on the forest path about 1.5 miles There you have a pub a post office and a beautiful little coffee and gift shop which sells delicious cakes and well worth a visit. Hot tub excellent, very private and sheltered from any wind. We couldn’t have wished for a better cottage, spotlessly clean for such an old place, and full of character. If you like hill walking, you are spoilt for choice. We were on a mountain biking holiday and there was a large games room for us to put our bikes in and loads of room outside for bike maintenance and all of our vehicles. The bottom of the Red Bull hard line is a few hundred meters away from the cottage so that was amazing to look at (but well out of our league).
