  • "The cottage was lovely."

We couldn't quite understand the heating times as the heating came on as we were going out. The expanse of garden was wonderful. There where quite a few cobwebs around the place and very dusty on the window ledge in bathroom & on wardrobe doors, and across the units in the bedrooms. They need to have a tray in the shower to enable people to put shower gels\shampoo's etc.( Other people have mentioned this also!!). Short of standard lamps to make it more cosy in the L/room. Everything sounded hallow and echoey, but a lovely stay besides that.

Would certainly recommend the cottage which we found to be immaculate and well equipped with lovely comfy beds. Will be on our list of properties we would consider revisiting.

The property is nicely decorated, comfortable and clean and has everything you require. We have visited this property three times now so a winner for us.

  • "Great bungalow apart from the BED."

The description states there's double room but the bed in it is not double it's a queen size, a 3/4 size bed which if I'd known I would not of booked it, as that would not be comfortable for us anyway but on top of that the mattress REALLY needs replacing. It slopes from the centre to outside edge. I ended up sleeping in the single bed for a few nights, not ideal when you are on a couples holiday. Otherwise this was a great little place clean & well equipped. It looks very ordinary at the front but interior is very nice & back garden is great. We did have an issue with the T.V but a phone call to the owners sorted that as they went above what I would of expected them to do to sort it.

Thank you for your feedback. This is the first time we have received negative comments about the mattress. We are sorry to hear you were not happy with the mattress and we will look at this, the bed is a 4'6 Double bed and we have checked the measurements for this. Thank you for the kind comments and we do hope this did not impact your stay and hope to welcome you again in the near future. Property Owner
