Along the north-east coast of Anglesey is a very large (4.5 miles long) bay called Red Wharf Bay. Its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 3 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, lovely buildings housing excellent shops, "olde worlde" pubs, restaurants, bistros, museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a beautiful location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey.

Llanddona Beach is part of the huge sandy beach at Red Wharf Bay which is one of the most stunning on Anglesey, with a broad and appealing sweep of golden sand, that never gets too crowded, even in the height of summer. This single-storey detached Anglesey holiday cottage has been fully renovated to provide light and airy open plan accommodation, with all modern fixtures and fittings. French doors lead to an enclosed patio area, perfect for dining alfresco and enjoying the beautiful beach view. Note: This cottage can be booked with Ref. 3938 to sleep 10.

There are no steps inside the house.
