  • "Very poor electrical lighting in the lounge of the cottage."

Parking space so narrow had problems opening the car doors wide enough exit car. Key box difficult to open.

Thank you for your feedback. We have always made clear that the parking might not be perfect but as long as you are able to reverse a vehicle you should be okay. There are plans to widen the driveway to enable better access in and out of vehicles. All that being said the cottage was built at a time when horse power related to an actual horse and not a car. Mrs Wray commented in our housekeeping book that the lamp in the lounge wasn’t working. On inspection the lamp was working perfectly fine and was on on a timer. We have removed the timer and feel that the 60 watt bulb offers more than sufficient lighting. The main light in the lounge has three 30 watt LED bulbs which again offers more than sufficient lighting. Mrs Wray also mentioned that the key box was difficult to open. This is a standard Master Lock key safe and I am not aware of any other option for providing secure access to the cottage. Property Owner

  • "We loved the cottage and the facilities, although the location on the main road was awkward for parking ."

And not very pleasant to sit outside as no view and road noise . Having said that the location was good for exploring the island and inside was very comfortable, clean and dog friendly .

  • "Fantastic clean warm cosy cottage."

Great footpaths on the door step 2 to 3 hour circular walks or a nice small one around the village for a rest day. Lovely coffee shop with a lovely dog friendly pub across the road which does good food.

  • "We had a really lovely weekend break away with our dogs at Camwy."

The cottage is incredibly well fitted out and you can tell that the owners have dogs as there were lots of little touches that make it clear dogs are genuinely welcome rather than 'allowed'. It's easy to get all over Anglesey from the village. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to be back again soon.
