  • "We have just returned from an amazing week at this gorgeous house."

We could not fault anything the views were amazing; the house was really well equipped for a large family holiday. Having 6 children under 5 with us could have been a problem, but there was plenty of space to move around in a safe environment both inside and out. The bedroom set up was ideal for giving everyone their own space and the adults loved the snug in the evening with the wood burning stove. The village was really friendly and had beautiful walks and amenities on hand. We will definitely return.

Beautiful views and places to walk to. Local pub only a short walk away. We had a great week seeing in the New Year with our uni friends going back to 1979 . The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

  • "Angorfa is simply stunning."

The location is idyllic, with incredible views out of every window. It's a short lovely walk to the village and beaches, and the small Morrisons in town provides enough food to limit trips to supermarkets. The scenery is stunning, the cliff walk/coast walk is right out the door, and it's a 30-45 minute drive to many castles and historical places. The house is nicely decorated, the en-suite bathrooms and main downstairs bathroom are lovely. It wasn't perfect-no rental is, but we had a wonderful two week stay with lots of family and friends coming to join us, filling all 7 bedrooms most of our visit. Karl, the host, was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

  • "A fabulous property for a family holiday, spacious and well equipped."

It worked really well for us. Having three fridges and two freezers as well as a wine fridge was especially welcome as was the use of kayaks. The layout of the lounge shown on the website would have suited us better than the more open layout it now has but we could probably have organised that for ourselves if it had been an issue. It’s hard to find any constructive criticism to make - we had a wonderful time!

  • "Nowhere to store clothes in upstairs double room for two people."

The room was rather cramped . Would be much better if the large armchair was replaced by a chest of drawers. It then could also be used as a dressing table One of the taps in the ensuite is rather loose

Thanks for the feedback. Just for clarity, in terms of storage that bedroom does have a wardrobe with drawers and further drawer space in the two bedside cabinets too so enough storage for a weeks visit. It also has the most amazing views across the bay, perfect for a morning coffee in bed taking in the awesome Anglesey landscape! Property Owner

  • "The property is fantastic for a family get together, the views are spectacular and provides more than enough cooking and relaxing furniture for us."

Single bed was best I have slept in for years. We have been twice now in 6 months, not disappointed either time. Even managed to watch gannets diving for food in the Bay!1 only one minor suggestion. all our visitors were over 65 and nearly all commented that soap/shampoo dishes in the showers would be a massive help, some were slightly disabled, found it highly difficult to recover dropped soap/ shampoo bottles

The property is only a short walk away from the town with shops and pubs and at low tide you can actually walk straight over to the main beach, where there is a pizza/ ice cream hut. The use of two kayaks was a real bonus for the family and the owners were more than helpful with everything. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and hopefully, return ourselves.

  • "The property met all of our expectations and the location exceeded them."

Karl took the trouble to provide a short video of the facilities before the holiday, to aid my husband's enjoyment of the stay, as he is a wheelchair user and quite frail. This helped enormously. The views, from the lounge window, are nothing short of spectacular at any time of day. We barely turned on the TV all week, there was so much to see! Adults and children alike enjoyed using the kayaks. We walked for miles, swam in the clear waters around the bay area and enjoyed both the ice cream and fish and chips, in Cemaes. The cottage was well equipped, especially the kitchen, which was a boon as we cooked most of our own meals- it included an enormous slow cooker, which we used on more than one occasion. The beds were comfy (although one of our party, who is very tall, found his a little short). Everything was lovely and clean. Fresh decor, with a seaside theme, throughout. Lots of room to spread out and do our 'own thing'. Evenings would see some of us playing cards or board games, others reading or sitting out on the patio, overlooking the bay, with a glass of coffee or wine. Later, we came together to chat before heading for bed. Perfect!

  • "Hi our family have just returned from our 2 week holiday and s a family we wasn't really looking forward to going because 2 years again we went to have a look at the property and the village, and we all said yes it's got something here for all, since then we've lost our beloved dad so everything we'd seen on our first visit was now seen with sadne we're all glad we went because we dad would have wanted us to still go and enjoy it, even with the tears and the horrendous feeling of loss and emptiness we did enjoy the holiday."

I must mention property on first arrival I did notice going up the slope and stairs their were no hand rails which was little disappointing as a few of us needing something to hold on while going in the house, also the tarmac going down to the round sitting area needs to be levelling-off as son as possible as being in a wheel chair I was very nervous going down there, I had to have 3 people take me, one either side and one pushing me, we could see that your in the middle of having work done outside but please if I could suggest if you have time could you do these three issues as soon as possible because I know someone with my needs will really benefit, once inside we all were so impressed on the level of cleanliness, as dogs were allowed we were expecting some dog hairs around the floors and under the bed etc, but nothing the cleanliness is outstanding, the colours and decor and the quality of the furniture have all been done beautifully, the best feature is the conservatory area with the two big opening windows which we had opened when it was too cold to sit out, and the kitchen area was brilliant everybody was able to comfortably sit in there while chatting and cooking, we have booked again for 2021 as next year was full unfortunately, we will certainly recommend this to family and friends, this house is a credit to you. So,thanksk you for making our first holiday without our dad/grandad/greatgrandadd/father-in-law very enjoyable with many tears and heart ache too{ if you have any cancellations during 2020 please would you bear us in mind ?,, and if you would kindly give us the option to book if possible ?. Also sorry to say I've noticed we still have the blue plastic salad bowl in our picnic ba, I don't know what I should do about this. If you have a suggestion? Thanks very much from all the potter family, from the ages of 80 down to 12 months. Bye for now, we can't wait for 2121. Thanks again.

My husband has had problems with the new knee he had in November and because of infection had to have this removed. We had to cancel three other holidays but were determined to have this time with our family. We all loved this special place, all the grandchildren enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the rocks. The families walked the cliff paths and even got to the top of Snowdon on a beautiful sunny days with amazing views. Although my husband and I took things more easily we loved the area, and the house was even better than I had dared to hope for. I love anything nautical and the decorations and position of the house were wonderful. The ease of access for my husband was good and we could still lie in bed and see the bay. This house fullfilled the wishes of everyone from 72 - 7 and everyone wants to return!
