  • "Great property in lovely Rhosneigr - a beautiful place and ideal base for exploring Anglesey."

The house was clean and spacious (except for the tiny lounge which only really seats 4 adults comfortably). Great beaches nearby and plenty of good places to eat.

  • "The photos were very deceptive on the listing must have been taken when the house was built as the front outside was very unkept and when trying to unlock the front door the handle was all corroded and could not pull the key out easily."

The front and rear view from the property were awful with the front overlooking the rear of the pub which was where the bins were kept and the rear of the property overlooked the rear of shops with their backs filled with rubbish. The actual garden area at the back was unsuitable to sit in with the bench broken, rusted and under the eye saw of a metal staircase (not shown on photos) where we also found a dead bird that had been there a while… not dog friendly. Sea views are an understatement as the only view of the sea was at an angle from the rear kitchen window when stood up. The lounge was not comfortable for 3 adults so dread to think what’s it’s like for 6 people. Also was not as clean as we expected… rug in the lounge was filthy and white socks did not remain white for long. In need of a freshen up with painting but not likely since the house is on the market. Also the outside bin disappeared before our stay finished.

  • "Very good stay, felt that 5 adults in sitting room did struggle finding somewhere to sit room quite small and not too much seating."

An extra door key would be helpful but altogether a lovely cottage

  • "Great location , right in the heart of the village and 2 minute walk from the beach."

the property is very clean and well maintained. Good parking for up to 4 cars. Bedrooms all have en-suite although the top bedroom doesn't have any storage that we could find. We have stayed at quite a few properties in Rhosneigr and for a party of six we would definitely use this one again.

  • "Home from home experience."

Great location and short stroll to the beach. Brilliant kitchen/dining area with superb TV. En-suite facilities for each bedroom made such a difference. On site parking very convenient. Took a few days to get used to the upside down house but fitter by the end of the week. Lounge is a bit small but cozy. Directions to property would be helpful as easy to drive past. Really enjoyed the stay.

We all enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Short walk to the beach and a general store is just over the road. Lovely holiday accomodation.

My only problem concerned the need for somewhere to hang or store our clothes in the upstairs bedroom, otherwise the house is very well appointed with excellent kitchen facilities

  • "In general we had had a great time at Tremfor, the use of the upstairs for kitchen / dining and sitting was a great idea as it makes good use of the views available, a few pointers that I can mention."

Upstairs bedroom having no storage was not good, had to utilise twin room storage which was a bit of a nuisance. The toilet roll holders have all gone rusty and very wobbly. Did not use the washer as did not appear to have drying built in. Could do with seat pads on seats in dining area as uncomfortable after a short time. Many thanks

  • "Great place."

...maybe because the end of the season, we felt it could do with a deeper clean in areas. Lounge smaller than anticipated and sofa/chairs not the most comfortable. Great house and great location.

  • "Beautiful house with plenty of parking."

Situated right in the centre so could walk to most places. Nice and modern furnishings, bright and airy. Well equipped, however, the washing machine is not a washer/dryer as stated and there is no washing line. Need one or the other to get beach stuff dry. The bedrooms could do with mirrors on the wall for hair and make-up. The only negative would be the towels smelt like they hadn't been dried properly. Nothing worse than a musty towel.

  • "The property was in a great position and the house itself was very comfortable, the en-suites were great."

The cleaning materials in all en-suites were good to have. Parking was great. The only little downside was the size of the sitting room, as there were only 4 of us it was adequate, but for 6 people I think it would be a bit on the tight side.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Tremfor, the house was very clean and warm."

We would just like to point out a couple of issues which if addressed would make it perfect. There is no furniture at all in the upstairs bedroom, just a bed. Somewhere to hang clothes would be useful. Some flutes for bubbles , especially at New Year The Lounge is far too small for the property and there are not enough chairs. Open plan would solve this. Having said all this, we would use the house again if visiting the area.

  • "We booked a house with a games room, balcony, garden all listed on the property."

As it was for my husbands 40th birthday we thought we’d pay a bit extra as a treat. Our boys aged 12 and 14 were super excited about a games room. When we got there we found that there wasn’t a games room or a balcony or a garden! With 3 children and a dog a garden was essential. It’s now a week on and we still haven’t sorted anything out with Sykes as they are still starting to find out how it was incorrectly advertised. I have spoke to Sykes 4 times in the last week, twice I have been told I’ll get a call back but haven’t. They have terrible customer services and it’s supposed to be the complaints team I’m dealing with. I won’t be using Sykes again!!!!

All bedrooms have en-suite and showers are very good plus an extra toilet downstairs - bonus! With in walking distance of beach, restaurants, shops etc. Excellent parking facilities. Has back yard for dogs, which is secure, but wouldn’t be great to sit out in - minor point - would recommend this house.

Left feedback for owner but with 3 doubles the living room is possibly a bit small for 3 couples and one of the rooms has no storage for clothes at all. May be better listed as ideal for families.

  • "We book through booking."

Com not Sykes, but when we couldn’t locate it Sykes took the call. It was about 15:10 on Saturday 15th September. A lady called Mel took our call and went totally over and above for nearly an hour helping us find it against the odds and persisting in trying to get hold of the owner. The property itself was tasteful, comfortable and clean but the lounge is not big enough for 6 people, and there is no usable garden. Although it takes dogs we didn’t find it very easy with no garden and a lounge too small with light coloured furniture so the dog had to be put in the kitchen with a stair gate. Great location.
