Llanfwrog near Penrhyn Bay, Isle of Anglesey
This rural village is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is only a few minutes’ walk from Penrhyn Bay on the lovely north-west coastline of Anglesey. Within two miles is Sandy Beach; as its name suggests, this is a beautiful long sandy beach, which is backed by dunes. This mile-long beach is ideal for safe bathing, windsurfing, surfing, sea canoeing and sailing, and between Easter and the end of October it has a shop, café and bistro open to the public. Wales' only working windmill is within easy reach, while the surrounding countryside and coastline provide excellent fishing, bird watching, scenic walks along the Coastal Path, biking and climbing. The cottage is in a good location, with so many different places to go to that we were spoilt for choice. Even a gentle walk to the beach just down the lane was lovely. We also enjoyed packing up a picnic and heading up into the mountains and going on drives along the coast. Fabulous way to unwind. Weather was great and cottage was lovely. Thank you!

This property was in an excellent location for some stunning walks & scenery. It was a cosy cottage - the owners had put the heating on even though it was the end of May but after a 6 hour journey and arriving at 11pm, this was greatly appreciated! They had also installed a brand new cooker - greatly appreciated!
