The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day-trips to Dublin), and the City of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Previous visitors' comments about Seashells, No. 1 Beach Road:

The cottage was excellent. There was more than enough space for 10 people and there were a lot of little touches that made our holiday even better than expected. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. I would definitely recommend it.
Mrs Laws, Scunthorpe, December 2012

A fantastic house to stay in. With 6 adults and 5 children there was still plenty of room for us to spread out. The beach was on our doorstep and it was great to be able to just walk there without the hassle of loading up cars and finding somewhere to park.
Mrs Porter, Swindon, October 2012

A fabulous house, well equipped with many rooms. Spacious enough for four generations to feel at home and relax! Great location. Literally a stones throw from the beach.
Mrs Russell, Manchester, July 2012

Fantastic location!
Mr Russell, Keighley, July 2012

This is the best house we have ever stayed in, the standard is first class. The standard of the bedrooms/bathrooms and the level of equipment in the kitchen was brilliant, the whole place felt homely, we will stay here again. Anglesey is a lovely island with lots for all the family.
Mrs Smith, Preston, June 2012

The position of the property and the actual property itself was just perfect. The stroll to the beach was great with 4 toddlers. We also enjoyed meals out within a few yards and to pop across the road to the local shop couldn't have been easier. The decor and layout of the house was spacious but wonderfully cosy, just lovely, and we have recommended to friends and family already!
Mr Butler, Sheffield, May 2012

The house was fantastic and the owners had gone the extra mile to make guests very welcome. Couldn't fault it.
Mrs Mills, Wirral, March 2012

The location is great - just a minute away from the beach and the village centre. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and there was lots of crockery and cutlery.
Dr Mercer, Leicester, October 2011

The property was lovely and in a superb location!
Mrs Pickerill, Cannock, August 2011
