The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day-trips to Dublin), and the City of Bangor within easy travelling distance. On the island you will find Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. Boat trips around Puffin Island offer the chance to see nesting puffins and guillemots, or cross to the mainland and enjoy Victorian Llandudno’s shopping, restaurants and dry-ski slope, Snowdonia mountains and the beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula.

This delightful, single-storey Rhosneigr cottage enjoys superb elevated views towards the Blue Flag sandy beach, on the Isle of Anglesey. This spacious Rhosneigr cottage is on a quiet side road, with gardens to all sides. The Rhosneigr cottage accommodation includes a modern kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with an open fire. Just over the road from this Rhosneigr cottage is the long sandy beach and dunes, stretching 2 km around the bay, offering sailing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing. Within a 5 minute stroll from your Rhosneigr cottage is the village centre, with its cafes, restaurants and wine bars. Maelog lake is accessed off a track at the end of the road and is renowned for its peace, tranquillity and wildlife, a bird watcher’s paradise, particularly when the starlings come to roost in autumn. The train station is within 0.4 miles of this Rhosneigr cottage, allowing direct access to Chester and Holyhead, or take the car and explore further afield to some of Anglesey’s attractions such as Plas Newydd NT house, the Sea Zoo or Pili Palas Butterfly Palace. If you prefer walking, the Anglesey Coastal Path opens up 125 miles of tracks right from this Rhosneigr cottage doorstep. This is a superb Rhosneigr cottage for romantic breaks, a small family or two couples to enjoy.
