    • “Great week away by the sea.”

    • “Had a fantastic week in a beautiful property by the sea. Large gardens meant the children could play safely. Clean, modern property, yards from the sea with great views over Red Wharf Bay. Took everything we needed as there are no shops within short walking distance. Access down to the property via about a mile of narrow steep road, but worth it to a secluded spot. The house is well equipped with everything you need and used the hot tub several times. Shed in the garden had balls, kites and stuff for family and kids to play with. Would certainly visit again. Couple of bottles of bubbly, card, cake and fruit on welcome a great touch and gardener Huw, very friendly!!”

    • “The house was excellent, and it was fantastic to have the hot tub to relax in. We loved having the beach right outside the front garden, and the lovely views all around. Great for a quiet, relaxing holiday.”

    • “Spacious, comfortable & classy property in a terrific location.”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “This is an impressive property. Airy, spacious & comfortable. Good quality furniture & fittings. Good quality bedding, towels & gowns. Plenty of towels provided. Excellent kitchen (quiet dishwasher, quality Neff oven, lots of crockery & cutlery). Large, separate utility room convenient not only for washing clothes but also for storing beach things. A lovely big private grassy garden for kids to run around in, and a bench for watching amazing sunsets. A hot tub in the back garden - a big hit with the whole family. A stone's throw from a wonderful Blue Flag beach which was so quiet we were often the only people on it. Beach cafe selling butties, tea and ice-cream close by. The only minus was the steep narrow road down to the property - might unsettle an inexperienced driver in my opinion.”

Mr Webster, St. Helens, June 2015

    • “An amazing place, didn't want for anything whilst there. The gardens were fab and particularly safe for children. It was a brilliant distance from the beach.”

Mrs Hemming, Sutton Coldfield, June 2015

    • “This is the best property we have ever stayed at. The location, which we knew well anyway, was perfect. The house itself was outstanding, the pictures on the website, although very good, didn't do it justice. The amount of space, both inside & outside, was remarkable, with both being equally well equipped. We wanted for nothing, it's the 1st property I have stayed in, & over the years I have stayed in many, that EVERYTHING I needed was there.”

    Mrs Walker, Ashton-under-Lyne, May 2015

    • “Loved this house it was fantastic! I want to live here. The garden views and facilities are excellent. Everything you could want is supplied couldn't ask for more just loved it all.”

    Mrs Hill, Manchester, May 2015

    • “Belan Wen is a unique cottage in a very special location. From the moment of arrival we knew we were in for a lovely time. Sleeping was so peaceful, we heard not a sound at night - what a treat! We also loved cooking many meals in the gourmet kitchen. The cottage was spacious and it was wonderful to have so many bathrooms.”

Mrs Longmore, Chelsea, Quebec, April 2015

    • “Fantastic property & setting, it would be hard to better - the gardener added to the experience with his information on the area! The whole experience from initial booking to ending/departure was seamless. My 60th birthday was made that bit more special by my stay with my family in Belan Wen! We will go back - definitely!”

    Mr Evans, Tonypandy, April 2015

    • “Belan Wen was absolutely lovely & all the little extras left by the owner made it very special! The owner couldn't have been more helpful, she really went the extra mile.”

    Mrs Welch, Rotherham, February 2015

    • “The location of property was fabulous, peaceful but near to the beach, fantastic for families. The garden was a lovely open space, the landscaping was perfect for children to explore and play hide and seek, we did a couple of treasure hunts also. The obvious highlight was the hot tub, the whole family, 3 generations, loved it. Didn't think we would be going in it in February, but it was perfect and used daily! The house was perfect, ten of us in it, but we never felt overcrowded and again there was lots of space for the children to play.”

    Mrs Howard, Manchester, February 2015

    • “This was our second stay at Belan Wen and I must say it was even better than last year, which I wouldn't have believed possible! The new extension has added so much to what was already an incredible property. We had a fantastic time, the weather and property both being brilliant!”

    Mr Seddon, Southport, September 2014

    • “The house was amazing, the views stunning. Very comfortable well equipped property .”
