    Gavin met us personally and made us feel very welcome, as did the local community. There is a lot to see and do in the area, The only draw back is parking can be difficult but with a little good will and common sense easily overcome.

The property

A pleasant stone-built terraced cottage situated in the old mining village of Rachub near to Bethesda, bordering the Snowdonia National Park.

This stone cottage provides a good base with comfortable accommodation for two guests to explore the wonderful delights that North Wales has to offer.

The ground floor of this cottage offers open plan living with a sitting area and dining area opening to the kitchen.

An attractive feature to the room is the woodburning stove, perfect for relaxing in front of with your favourite tipple or cup of hot chocolate after a good day's adventures.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom with woodburning stove adding extra charm to the room, and a separate shower room.

Located to the front of the property across the pedestrian pathway there is an enclosed patio garden which is a lovely spot for alfresco dining.

There is also a secure outbuilding for bikes and outdoor equipment and also a kennel should your dog require a little ‘me’ time.

There's also on street parking nearby to the cottage.

Just a couple of minutes’ walk will take you into the village of Rachub where you’ll find the local shop and pub, and venture further into Bethesda where there's a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants spread along the bustling high street.

The bustling market town of Caernarfon is a short drive away where you can immerse yourself in history at the magnificent 13th century castle, or explore the pretty art shops, practice your swing on the golf course or relax in the restaurants.

The spectacular Snowdonia National Park is on the doorstep offering walking, cycling, waterfalls and a myriad of outdoor activities.

For adrenalin junkies why not visit the Zip World zip wire ride in Bethesda.

This cottage is in a wonderful location ideal for days out, exploring the beautiful surrounding coastline, or discover the magnificent Snowdonia National Park.
