Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, take boat trips around the coast and enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.

The Property

Moelfre 3 miles. An attractive, terraced cottage in the small hamlet of Mynydd Bodafon close to the seaside resort of Moelfre on the Isle of Anglesey. This wonderful Moelfre cottage offers character and charm, having been converted from an 18th century stable. At this Moelfre cottage there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a roll-top bath) while the well-equipped kitchen with dining area has delightful exposed beams. The sitting room at this Moelfre cottage has patio doors that lead out onto a superb decked platform, which boasts mountain views, and the second sitting room allows for a great, fun space for children to escape to. The large, enclosed, sloping lawn at this Moelfre cottage is an ideal playground for children and is also suitable for dining alfresco. The sandy Lligwy Beach is less than two miles away, with its safe bathing and open space, and the seaside fishing port of Moelfre is only three miles away. A lovely Moelfre cottage, which is ideal for young families, groups of friends and couples to enjoy a great holiday on a magical island.
