The scattered rural village of Penmynydd stands amidst lovely countryside only four miles from the stunning coastline of this beautiful Isle of Anglesey. The ancient village gave rise to the Tudor family, the forefathers of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I and today boasts the St Gredifael church built in the 14th century and home of the Tudor Tomb. A variety of shops and cafes front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the town centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The owners left you to your own devices but were very friendly and helpful when needed. The cottage was cosy and warm and staying in due to inclement weather was a pleasure, especially the views out of the window in the lounge.
Mrs Dawson, Chelmsford, September 2012
We loved the layout of the cottage and the view of the garden and beyond from the picture window made it a pleasure to return to each evening. Lots to do for us on the island and nearby. An enjoyable holiday was had by all.
