As soon as you enter this pretty Holyhead cottage you will feel welcomed, with a stylishly furnished sitting room with dining area leading through to the well-equipped kitchen, offering everything needed for entertaining on holiday. The two first floor bedrooms are well appointed, offering double beds and a modern, ultra-stylish, marble tiled bathroom with separate bath and steam shower cubicle, with spray jets and a built-in radio. The second floor provides a mezzanine snug room with occasional single day bed and additional pull-out single bed, and door leading out onto the large balcony with glass balustrade, offering far reaching views across the marina towards the Irish Sea in one direction, and to Holyhead Mountain in the other. This provides the perfect spot in which to relax with a morning coffee, or a refreshing afternoon drink in the summer sun, whilst watching the boats leave the harbour, just a stroll from your Holyhead holiday cottage. With a vibrant high street and numerous shops, restaurants and bars, Holyhead is an ideal holiday destination. In the other direction, the deserted clifftops and impressive South Stack lighthouse can be easily reached by foot, providing ideal locations for bird watching and exploring the rocky coves. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to spot a seal or porpoise playing on the rocks. At the end of a busy day, return to your superb Holyhead cottage and unwind whilst planning tomorrow’s exciting adventures.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
