Menai Bridge 4 miles.
Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait. With its medieval castle dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol & courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses in the town and all local amenities are within easy walking distance of the premises. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay. Its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. This is a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
This contemporary, detached Beaumaris cottage offers superb, light and airy accommodation with fantastic views down the valley to the sea, and is situated on the outskirts of Beaumaris on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. With sea views from two bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangements, this lovely Beaumaris cottage offers ideal accommodation for families and groups to enjoy throughout the year. This Beaumaris cottage is based on the German Huf-Haus style and benefits from an intelligent design and layout. Two patio doors lead off the sitting room out to the large, raised decking area, which wraps around the outside of the house, providing an elevated viewing platform over the ornamental water gardens and wild forest garden, and towards the coast beyond. Guests at this Beaumaris cottage can sit out and enjoy the views with a cold drink in the summer, whilst on chillier evenings the views can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sitting room, through the glass doors. This Beaumaris cottage is located at the end of a long sweeping drive and set in the middle of woodland countryside, yet only a short stroll away are the coast, pubs and restaurants of Beaumaris, making this Beaumaris cottage an ideal base for a peaceful seaside escape, allowing guests to ‘get away from it all’.

Previous visitors' comments about Ty Wennol:
It was extremely peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings, close to the beach, 5 minutes from Beaumaris. The house was perfect for families who want the home from home comforts with a country feel that is close to amenities and the beach. Sad to leave, can't wait to go back.

The owner was really helpful on arrival and it was really interesting to find out the 'eco' status of the house. Overall the accommodation was of a really good standard. The underfloor heating was incredible and a real luxury on a wet and windy day. The location of the house is fantastic with great sea views and we were able to explore many parts of Anglesey.
