Fort William 40 miles.

Lochaline is on the Morvern Peninsula, one of the remotest areas on the British mainland, and overlooks the beautiful Sound of Mull. The village sits at the mouth of the sea loch and has a shop/post office, snack bar, hotel and seafood restaurant and there is also a busy dive school. There is easy access by car-ferry to the Isle of Mull, with its wonderful wildlife and beaches. This is a beautiful area rich in flora and fauna, with wonderful walks, beaches, cycling, fishing and a fascinating shoreline to explore. The town of Fort William is about an hour's drive away, where you can explore the Nevis Range; ride the Gondola to 2150ft besides Ben Nevis, stroll along mountain footpaths and ski in the winter.

Previous visitors' comments about 5 Larachbeg:

One of the best equipped and comfortable cottages we have ever visited. It was like a home from home. The cottage is in a beautiful location to get away from it all, with breathtaking scenery and lots to see and easy access to Mull Ferry. The friendly neighbours were extremely helpful and the caretaker was ace! We will definitely do a return visit. It is a great pet friendly place.
Miss Hendry, Hamilton, September 2011

The standard and location were excellent.
Mr Walling, Altrincham, June 2011

A warm and cosy cottage in a very beautiful and remote part of the country. The ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world.
Mr Pine, Sheffield, May 2011
