All ground floor and with an access ramp, Little Laight has electric underfloor central heating, much of which comes from its own wind turbine.

There are three bedrooms: a double with an en-suite and two twins sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

A spacious kitchen has a dining room, while the main sitting room has a flame-effect electric fire and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the superb views as they change with the weather.

Property is very clean, warm and well equipped.

The views from the cottage are outstanding and the walks from the cottage are excellent. A lot of work has gone in to preparing this cottage. So why a low overall rating, the wind turbine! It is listed in the advert, and there is a very good photo attempting to minimise the size of it. We stay at properties all the time that are off grid and utilise wind and solar for power, so are somewhat accustomed to some noise off the blades this however, is a commercial turbine that is connected to the grid and isn’t anything to do with the cottage, as the cottage pamphlet testifies to, in a power cut your blacked out also! It’s so noisy, time in the garden is spoilt by the continuous woosh of the blades, you can’t have a window or a door open when it’s turning, the soundscape is dominated by it! We won’t be returning to this particular cottage.

fantastic views over the lock, the cottage was very cosy and warm.

Watching all the different wildlife and animals was very relaxing, we felt like we were in our own bubble, the dogs loved the place and running around the garden, the fencing at the back of the cottage on the right hand side has come away from the wooden post we did block it up as best as we could, we would definitely come back to stay only sad part was we didn't book 2 weeks there maybe next time we will

Lovely isolated cottage to chill out in with good facilities and great views.

Only thing lacking is WiFi but that can be a help to chill out.
