The farming village of Carnwath nestles in the Clyde Valley on the edge of open moorland and enjoys views of the Pentland Hills. Notable in the village is the Wee Bush Inn dating from the 1750s, the Market Cross, and St Mary's Aisle which is the only part of the Collegiate Church on the current Parish Church and dates back to 1386. Further afield is the garden of Little Sparta with its amazing sculptures, plus Carnwath's location makes it ideal as a base for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Nook was the perfect get away from it all. The flat was beautifully pesented with lovely furnishings. We had a super mini break and would certainly return. An ideal location for visiting Edinburgh - the park and ride system is great value.
