Earith is a Fenland village in Cambridgeshire, with wide open skies and far reaching views. The village is set on the delightful Great River Ouse, with passing river boats and a local marina. For fishermen, there is Eairth Lakes Fishery with two large lakes known for its great fishing, along with several other lakes in the region. During the winter, visit nearby Bury Fen, popular for ice skating due to its low lying frozen flooded meadowlands. Local attractions include RSPB Fen Drayton Reserve, NT Houghton Mill and Wimpole Hall, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, and Denny Abbey and Farmland Museum. Slightly further afield, visit Ely Cathedral and Oliver Cromwells house, take a punt down the river at Cambridge, enjoy the university buildings and shopping, or visit Newmarket the home of horseracing, with a day at the races or its racing museum.
