Ideally placed for walking and touring the Welsh Marches and rural Shropshire, this pretty area is also close to the delighful market town of Bishops Castle, which offers a weekly market and an excellent variety of shops, pubs and places to eat. There are numerous nearby attractions including Powis, Montgomery, Clun and Stokesay Castles, the Severn Valley Railway, the World Heritage Centre of Ironbridge and walks along Offa's Dyke, Shropshire Way and the Stiperstones.

The property boasts a wealth of original beams, a warm and welcoming sitting room with cast iron multi-fuel stove and a large garden, perfect for dining al fresco whilst enjoying the views of the nearby Callow and Corndon Hills. Hillgate House makes a wonderful base from which to enjoy walking, cycling and horseriding, or visiting the historic towns of Shrewsbury, Bishops Castle and Ludlow. With many attractions within easy reach amid scenic countryside, this is an ideal location for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
