The quaint village of Killadysert is located on the banks of the majestic River Shannon in County Clare and is just 40 minutes’ drive from Shannon Airport. With a selection of very traditional pubs and shops, Killadysert offers a real taste of a typical rural Irish village. The village centres on the main square, and a short walk down any road will take you into the countryside, with beautiful mature broadleafed trees and hedgerows. Killadysert also hosts many local festivals throughout the year. Ennis, the county's capital town, is a 20 minute drive east, and it is also possible to catch the nearby car ferry in Killimer for a day trip to Kerry. This ferry crosses the River Shannon and offers superb views of the estuary, as well as allowing you to explore the Kingdom of Kerry. Killadysert is also a great base for accessing the sandy beaches of Kilkee and Spanish Point. A perfect destination for any time of the year.

Still boasting the original large cooking fireplace in the homely kitchen/diner, this cottage offers all the charm of a bygone era yet with modern amenities. The accommodation is cosy and welcoming, including an en-suite to the main bedroom. The views from the patio area capture a 3 span bridge and the river winding into the countryside - a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility in this unspoilt part of Ireland. The car ferry from Killimer crosses to Kerry, while the beaches and attractions of West Clare are easily accessed by car. The pubs and shops in this quaint village will welcome you, and this lovely cottage will charm you to return again and again.
