Kilmihil is a pretty village located in the west of County Clare and is renowned for its Holy Shrine, attracting many pilgrims due to its "blessed" water. It is the perfect location if you are looking for a quiet base for your holiday whilst still being within easy reach of all of the popular attractions in County Clare. The pretty coastal town of Kilkee can be easily reached in a short drive and has a sandy beach, great surfing and a fantastic leisure centre open year round. There are a number of other coastal villages to be discovered in the area, each with their own unique character and charm, and the world famous Cliffs of Moher are well worth a visit. Golfers will find a number of world class courses throughout the county and there are ample opportunities for fishing and water sports. County Kerry can be easily reached using the convenient ferry service from the nearby village of Killimer, with a further wealth of opportunities for fabulous days out.

The Property

This modern, detached house is situated in an isolated, rural location, 2.5 miles from the village of Kilmihil, and just 10 miles from the lively town of Ennis, in beautiful County Clare. Situated entirely on the ground floor, this Kilmihil cottage is great for those with limited mobility, and also those travelling with children, so the whole family can enjoy a cottage holiday in Ireland. Guests can enjoy rural views from the sitting room of this Kilmihil cottage, making the most of the location whatever the weather, so in the summer you can enjoy long walks from the doorstep over the County Clare countryside, and on colder days, light the open fire, put a film on, and curl up for a cosy day in. Close by, Doonbeg Golf Course is great for a round in the sun, while the old town of Ennis provides wonderful shopping and dining opportunities, and with Kilrush within easy travelling distance, and the rest of Ireland just waiting to be discovered, this Kilmihil cottage has something for everybody.
