The pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts including Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers. Also to the north you will find the striking 'Cliffs of Moher', which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.

Decorated and furnished in a comfortable, traditional fashion, this County Clare cottage is just a mile from the sea at White Strand, and enjoys views towards the sea from most rooms. There are two double bedrooms in this County Clare cottage, plus a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a sitting room with a woodburner in a feature fireplace, and a sun room with dining area which takes full advantage of the views over the countryside towards the sea. The beach at Spanish Point is 1.5 miles away, the beautiful Burren National Park is only 20 miles away, and the Aran Islands are just a boat trip away and make a fantastic day out. There are excellent walking and fishing opportunities nearby and you can’t leave without sampling some fresh seafood. A cosy County Clare cottage perfect for a memorable Irish break.
