This tiny fishing village is situated between the Burren Mountains and Galway Bay, overlooking the harbour. It is home to a safe sandy beach, the famous Flaggy Shore with beautiful flora and fauna, a locally caught seafood shop, an art gallery and shop, and Linnane's renowned Lobster Bar and Restaurant. There are lots of lovely things to see and do, and great days out from New Quay; explore the rock pools on the Flaggy Shore rocks, the seaside villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan are a short drive away, there are several championship golf courses close by, as well as sandy beaches great for bathing, and lovely scenic walks and green roads. A little further afield, visit the seaside village of Lahinch on the shores of Liscannor Bay, the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Galway, the Aran Islands, Connemara National Park and Bunratty Castle. This quiet village is a great place to relax and enjoy the delights of the area.

This is a lovely, single storey, New Quay cottage, set on 5 acres, situated between Ballyvaughan and Kinvara, half a mile from New Quay, in The Burren region, County Clare. This semi-detached New Quay cottage is a wonderful touring base for this part of Ireland, and with lots of lovely features it is ideal all year round. Enjoy wonderful sea views from two of the bedrooms, and on a clear day, this New Quay cottage boasts views all the way across to Galway City from the comfortable sitting room. Close by, the famous Flaggy Shore, where The Burren meets the sea at Galway Bay, of which Seamus Heaney wrote, is a wonderful day for an inspiring walk, or for budding photographers to take stunning shots of natural, breathtaking beauty. For a tasty meal, visit Linnane's Lobster Bar for fresh seafood, or go towards the Martello Tower and get home made Linnalla ice-cream, or instead simply relax and enjoy a BBQ in the garden of your New Quay cottage.
