Quilty is an attractive seaside resort with local charm, providing a seafood restaurant, a pub, a supermarket, sea fishing and an indoor swimming pool. The nearby pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts including Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers, and to the south you will find the striking 'Cliffs of Moher', which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.

Previous visitors' comments about Seaside Cottage:
The cottage was very nice and the owner was extremely helpful. My wife and I were both very comfortable with the cottage and didn't want to leave - not to mention the perfect location. Overall we had an excellent stay there and hope to return. Thank you for a great cottage.
Mr Hobbs, Cullen, December 2011
Our week's stay at Seaside Cottage, Quilty was really exceptional for all the right reasons. The location is excellent set between the cliffs of Moher to the North and Kilkee to the South, with several other wonderful locations in between. The cottage has all the facilities to support a busy schedule, including a solid-fuel burner to keep the Atlantic's chilling winds, when they surface, at bay. Add to that the nice people who run the place and it augurs well for a return trip. County Clare, by the way, has areas of incredible beauty.

We have just spent a wonderful week at the seaside cottage in Quilty, Co Clare. We were delighted with the cleanliness of the cottage and the facilities provided. The owner was very welcoming and answered all our queries and questions. We were so happy there we would like to book the cottage for next year.
