Located on the banks of the Scarriff River near the centre of the pleasant village of Scarriff in County Clare, is this group of two delightful holiday cottages. These Scarriff cottages are fantastic holiday homes for families as they each sleep six people and have all of the facilities that you would expect from an Irish holiday property. Each of these Scarriff cottages has a comfortable sitting room with open fire, ideal for chilly evenings when you can curl up in front of the fire and reminisce about the day’s events. Outside these Scarriff cottages are a shared lawned area, a patio with a seating area and access to the river bank, plus paths across the 5 acres of the owner’s fields to fishing pools, renowned for excellent bream, trout and roach. Local walking trails are in abundance from these Scarriff cottages with the cliffs of Moher within a 1 hour drive. There is a championship golf course at nearby East Clare and the waters of Lough Derg are just a few minutes’ drive away offering a whole range of watersports including sailing, canoeing, kitesurfing, and wakeboarding. The town of Scarriff offers a range of amenities, from traditional Irish pubs with live music to restaurants and a harbour. You will be truly spoilt for things to do, making these wonderful Scarriff cottages enjoyable at any time of the year!

The Property

This delightful detached Scarriff riverside cottage is one of two properties on site. This Scarriff cottage offers four bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen at this Scarriff cottage whilst the sitting room benefits from a warming open fire and exposed beams, adding character to this warm and cosy cottage. Note: This cottage can be booked with ref 8443 to accommodate 12 people.
