The picturesque seaside village of Courtmacsherry lies between the Old Head of Kinsale and The Seven Heads peninsula on the West Cork coast. The sheltered harbour provides lovely views over the bay, and the old smugglers’ cottages, which date back to the 18th century. The harbour and bay are a favoured spot for anglers, with seabass and flounder fishing available. Hike the 100m to the top of the Coolim Cliffs and take in the panoramic view of Barry's Point, Old Head, Seven Heads, and Dunworley Bay, a beach ideal for surfing, or try one of Courtmacsherry's restaurants and pubs. Take a trip up the Seven Heads peninsula, ideal for walking and birdwatching, or enjoy a round of golf at the Old Head of Kinsale and Bandon Golf Club. A great location all year round.

With spacious rooms, and a large, lawned garden to relax in, this cottage is ideal for large groups or families. Boasting stunning sea views over Blind Strand and Broad Strand beaches, and traditional features including an open fire, range cooker and Belfast sink, this property is a lovely base for discovering this part of Ireland. Take the 10 minute stroll down to one of the Blue Flag sandy beaches and try windsurfing and kayaking, or enjoy pier fishing at Blind Strand beach. With plenty of walking available, and numerous sandy beaches to explore, this Ireland cottage is ideal for a coastal getaway.
