Enjoying stunning panoramic views, this delightful Lauragh cottage has been carefully renovated to retain much original charm and character. Featuring a spacious kitchen/diner with exposed beams and a comfortable sitting room, complete with woodburner for chilly nights, this Lauragh cottage is ideal all year round. Located on the Beara Peninsula, Gloss’ Farmhouse is an ideal base for walking enthusiasts. The spectacular Healy Pass opens up the Caha Mountains with its remote upland lakes and valleys offering fantastic days out for walkers and nature lovers alike. The mountain range offers the challenging rugged peaks of Hungry Hill and Sugarloaf Mountain, to the gentler but breathtaking Gleninchiquin and Rambach’s Way with its deserted settlement of Cummeengeera. The area around this Lauragh cottage is rich in archaeological sites such as stone circles and wedge graves. The rugged landscape can be enjoyed by walkers of all abilities, with the Beara Way offering routes around the peninsula with signed walks and coastal viatas. This is a wonderful location for a peaceful or active holiday.
