Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing.

Siobhan’s Cottage is light, airy and comfortable with four lovely bedrooms, three of which are ensuite and a large, well equipped kitchen with dining area and patio doors leading to the garden boasting tranquil views over the "Gap of Dunloe" and magnificent Macgillycuddy Reeks. The small village of Beaufort is nearby offering shops and pubs, while the towns of Killorglin and Killarney are both within easy reach. This is a superb base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, beaches and lakes, with numerous places of historic interest available as well as good restaurants, bars and nightlife not to be missed! A wonderful holiday location.
