Kinsale is located at the mouth of the River Bandon, on the Atlantic coast in County Cork. Popular with tourists, it is famed for its majestic marina which shelters luxury yachts and is home to a number of sailing clubs. There are fine restaurants producing gourmet cuisine, and fashionable bars and shops to hold the attention of even the most discerning visitor. The town has a rich history and impressive architecture whilst retaining a quaint air of antiquity throughout the narrow intersecting streets. Historical sites and places of interest are waiting to be discovered including Charles Fort, and Desmond Castle which houses the International Museum of Wine. Further afield but still within easy reach is Blarney Castle where you can kiss the Blarney Stone and leave with the 'gift of the gab'. Whether you try this or not, we are sure you will be talking about this beautiful region for a long time to come!

The property provides well thought out and beautifully presented accommodation that is perfect for a beach holiday or touring this part of Ireland. French doors lead from the living area out onto the patio at the front of the property, perfect for alfresco dining or for enjoying a glass of wine and soaking up the sun. There are two beaches located in Garrettstown waiting to be discovered which offer a variety of water sports for all abilities. After a day on the beach, why not stop at the bar in the village, offering traditional Irish hospitality, a lively atmosphere and Irish music throughout the summer season? For a day's touring why not take in the areas of Courtmacsherry, Clonakilty and Skibbereen offering some of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring coastal scenery in Ireland? Or vibrant Cork City, less than an hour’s drive.
