Kinsale is located at the mouth of the River Bandon, on the Atlantic coast in County Cork. Popular with tourists, it is famed for its majestic marina which shelters luxury yachts and is home to a number of sailing clubs. There are fine restaurants producing gourmet cuisine, and fashionable bars and shops to hold the attention of even the most discerning visitor. The town has a rich history and impressive architecture whilst retaining a quaint air of antiquity throughout the narrow intersecting streets. Historical sites and places of interest are waiting to be discovered including Charles Fort, and Desmond Castle which houses the International Museum of Wine. Further afield but still within easy reach is Blarney Castle where you can kiss the Blarney Stone and leave with the 'gift of the gab'. Whether you try this or not, we are sure you will be talking about this beautiful region for a long time to come!

The Property

Kinsale 6 miles. A modern detached house set within an exclusive development of 16 holiday homes, carefully located in the grounds of Kilgobbin Castle on the shores of the River Bandon. Contemporary in design, the property is light and airy, and benefits from quality fittings and furnishings. Upstairs there is a mezzanine seating area with viewing gallery, and outside a decked area overlooks the communal gardens which are ideal for relaxing in. The nearby town of Kinsale offers gourmet restaurants, lively pubs and great shops, as well as numerous historic attractions and a fantastic harbour and yacht club. There are golf courses to be found in the surrounding area which are ideal for testing your game, and beautiful sandy beaches and rugged coastal walks to be enjoyed. Something for everyone!
