Kinsale is located at the mouth of the River Bandon, on the Atlantic coast in County Cork. Popular with tourists, it is famed for its majestic marina which shelters luxury yachts and is home to a number of sailing clubs. There are fine restaurants producing gourmet cuisine, and fashionable bars and shops to hold the attention of even the most discerning visitor. The town has a rich history and impressive architecture whilst retaining a quaint air of antiquity throughout the narrow intersecting streets. Historical sites and places of interest are waiting to be discovered including Charles Fort, and Desmond Castle which houses the International Museum of Wine. Further afield but still within easy reach is Blarney Castle where you can kiss the Blarney Stone and leave with the 'gift of the gab'.
