The charming village of Ballydehob lies on the south west coast of Ireland, and is shrouded in natural beauty, playing home to an abundance of flora and fauna. Take a walk over the 12 Arch Bridge and take in the lovely views of the estuary, discover Kilcoe Castle, West Cork's best preserved castle, or make the journey west to Mizen Head. The most south-westerly point of Ireland, and a great location for walkers and nature lovers alike, Mizen Head is situated at the end of a peninsula, and provides great views out to the sea. Spend a day on Barley Cove Beach surrounded by sand dunes, marked as Special Areas of Conservation, while only 20 minutes’ drive will take you to Toormore Beach which is great for children and families. With lots to see and do, Ballydehob is a great location, all year round.

Close to a number of beaches, there is lots of fun for all the family from the doorstep of this Ballydehob cottage; spend a day at Toormore, a place of true natural beauty boasting secluded sandy beaches, private coves and spectacularly rugged coastline, while walkers and nature lovers can enjoy Mizen Head. After a long day, return to this wonderful Ballydehob cottage to relax and unwind.
