Situated between the towns of Kenmare and Waterville, and on the route of the Kerry Way, the village of Sneem provides shops, pubs and a number of cosy tea rooms. With rows of brightly coloured houses, and a lively atmosphere, it is no wonder Sneem is a popular stop for tourists and locals alike, and it is said to be impossible to complete a circuit of the famous Ring of Kerry without passing through Sneem, known as the 'Knot on the Ring of Kerry’. Nearby, the vibrant town of Kenmare offers beautiful coastlines to explore, winding streets and interesting boutiques, while the coastal town of Waterville is only a short drive away, and provides a great day out for all the family. Parknasilla Hotel with its spa and golf course, and Derrynane Beach, are within easy reach, or try walking on the famous Macgillycuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland, with notoriously rugged terrain to conquer, or make the short journey to Killarney National Park, where beauty abounds.

We had a lovely holiday. The cottage was everything we could hope for. We were 2 families holidaying together and there was room enough for all of us. The lawn area was great for the kids, enough room even for a badminton net! The owners were close by if needed and they had a wealth of local knowledge.
