Nestled between Ballinskelligs Bay and Lough Currane, sits Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry. Surrounded by mountains and lakeland, Waterville also offers a fine sandy beach, two golf courses, one being a championship 18 hole course, and interesting archaeological remains. Enjoy walks along the wonderful Kerry Way or angling and fishing on one of the area’s many excellent rivers or lakes. Take a boat trip to the Skellig Rocks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy fabulous vistas across the bay, coupled with seeing one of Europe’s best known and oldest monasteries. Other trips of note are Valentia Island or Dingle, or visit the bustling coastal town of Cahersiveen which is only 10 miles away. A great base from which to explore the south west coast, and famous Ring of Kerry.

This charming cottage dates back almost 100 years, and has been renovated and extended to provide spacious, comfortable accommodation, with an open plan living area and beautifully furnished bedrooms, ideal for families or groups. Outside, the property boasts large, lawned gardens, and a decked area ideal for dining alfresco, while the surrounding mountains offer an impressive backdrop, with a large waterfall cascading down the mountainside, only a couple of hundred metres away, making this the ideal place for a relaxing getaway. There are fantastic walks available from the doorstep, and great opportunities for days out along the Ring of Kerry; Valentia Island is only a short drive away, offering magnificent sea cliffs, and various boat trips available to the visitor. A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location, and an ideal base at any time of the year.
