The surrounding area boasts a wealth of activities including fishing, horse-riding, golf and canoeing, whilst the Coomasaharn horse-shoe mountain to the south, Seefin and Curra to the east and west and Slievemish to the north provide great walking opportunities and stunning views. With the pretty town of Killorglin also within easy reach, this beautiful area has plenty for all the family to explore!

Glenbeigh 2.5 miles. This detached cottage is set on a hillside a short drive up from the Killorglin to Glenbeigh road in County Kerry. This Glenbeigh cottage boasts beautiful panoramic views across the fields towards Dingle Bay and Rosbehy Point. Inside, this Glenbeigh cottage is warm and comfortable with a well-equipped fitted kitchen, dining area and an inviting sitting room. Your Glenbeigh cottage also offers a shower room, ground floor bathroom and three cosy bedrooms, providing you with a relaxing night’s sleep. At this Glenbeigh cottage, there is a large lawned garden, where you can light the barbecue and dine alfresco on a summer’s evening. This Glenbeigh cottage is ideally situated for many local attractions, including the Dooks beach, which is less than a mile away. Further afield, head west to Glenbeigh itself on the world famous Ring of Kerry, with the Blue Flag sandy beach at Rossbeigh Strand a couple of miles further on, or perhaps busy Killorglin to the east will tempt you. As well as just enjoying the scenery, the area offers all sorts of activities to keep you occupied, such as fishing or horseriding, and golfers are well catered for with the Killorglin and Dooks courses close by.
