Previous visitors' comments about The Chaffinch:

A good base for touring.
Mr Startin, Huddersfield, June 2012

The cottage was very relaxing with nice gardens, surroundings and owners.
Mr Dawkins, Westbury, June 2012

It was warm and comfortable which was important as we had rather chilly weather and some wet days when we had to stay in. The owners were very kind and helpful and it was a lovely place for our dog who had a lovely time in all the grounds. It was ideal for my elderly mother being all on the same level and the sitting room/conservatory area was a particularly nice feature.
Mrs Gordon-wilson, St. Leonards-on-Sea, June 2012

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chaffinch, it was a great location for touring and the owner made us very welcome. The cottage has a beautiful garden and inside we were greeted with 2 lovely scones with cream and jam, tea bags and sugar set out, with milk in the fridge. The village had a good pub with great food.
