    • “So hard to find pet friendly accommodation in Cornwall, this was that and so much more. A beautiful location, really central to everywhere we wanted to go. A lovely cottage, fantastic for us with two kids and our parents as plenty of room. Owners on hand most of the time if you needed them. Have booked to go again next year and booked one of the owners other properties because 12 of us are going!! Would thoroughly recommend without hesitation.”

    • “We had a lovely week in a great location with lots to see and do. There was fly fishing available locally and we were not far from the sea for a spot of sea fishing. The cottage was new and very clean with lots of space”

    • “Good value stay in spacious accommodation”

    • “Came to stay for family wedding. Lovely conversion in middle of four similar properties. Probably the least private as it is the middle property. Although in need of a little upkeep, an a good dust, the house made an excellent base for our holiday. With a young child the open plan lounge kitchen created a spacious hub area. The bedrooms were also roomy. The house was light and bright and had a little patio area out the front. The owners had put in a private patio / eating area for this particular cottage in the opposite field too. There was also a shared paddock. Good value for money as cheaper than many other holidays cottages in the area.”

    • “Fantastic base for a family holiday around Cornwall”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “We picked Tregotha Barn, as its location (a couple of miles outside of Hayle) made it the perfect base for our holiday around Cornwall. We were not disappointed! The owners, Mr and Mrs Law, were very welcoming and readily contactable during our stay to answer any questions we had (from how to work the oven to asking for more toilet rolls!). The barn itself was great: the size of the rooms adequate; plenty of space but still felt cosy. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped; all the rooms clean. There was so much natural light from outside that we didn't really need to turn the lights on until well after 9pm. There is big supermarket (Co-op) in Hayle which is 10 mins' drive from the barn - handy for stocking up on food supplies. My family and I enjoyed our stay there greatly; it is great value for money and we would definitely recommend it to others.”

    • “Property at the end of a very muddy lane and the sign post was obscured from one side. Need a car for shopping and entertainment. Property was clean and spacious - the welcome was very friendly. If you are afraid of Turkeys - don't go they visited the property regularly looking for handouts - we thought it was delightful!”

    • “It was so quiet and in the most peaceful and unpopulated area of Cornwall, despite both coasts being only a few miles away. It was very practical for my elderly father who needed accommodation on one level and this was perfect for him. It took a long time to find somewhere that suited us all and Tregotha gave us all the space we needed and more. Thank you.”

    Mrs Swarbrick, Tiverton, May 2015

    • “Very relaxing with lovely welcoming owners who made us feel welcome. Our grandson loved the tractors. We were fortunate to have lovely weather but there are lots of things to do within a reasonable distance if the weather is not good.”

    Mrs Georgoulias, Bedford, August 2014

    • “Lovely place, very welcoming owners. Loved the cottage and the views across the fields while sitting out. Good location, very peaceful but easy access to St Ives and both coasts. Excellent for people like us with a dog.”

    Mr Challenger, Bradford, June 2014

    • “My wife and I are caravanners, but this time we needed somewhere to take our son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and dog. A friend recommended you to us and we are so glad that she did. Your booking team were efficient and friendly, helping us to find the perfect place that suited all of our needs. Tregotha Barn is a peaceful place to stay - away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives - but close enough to visit the many other wonderful places that make up that part of Cornwall.”

    Mr Lewis, Doncaster, April 2014

    • “Second stay at the cottage. Everything we wanted to enjoy on our visit. First class accommodation, friendly ownets and a great holiday for our dog. He loves going to the farm. We will be going back.”

About the location

Hayle 3 miles.

Reawla is a pretty village set among lush green fields, just 4 miles inland from the glorious beaches at Hayle, and the perfect base for exploring the land of Celtic myth and legend that is Cornwall’s far west. Reminders of Cornwall’s tin mining heritage are all around, yet the coast with its rolling surf, miles of sandy beaches, hidden coves and outstanding cliff-top walking is just minutes away. Close too are Penzance, Helston and the quaint fishing harbour and artists’ colony of St Ives, while the imposing presence of St Michael’s Mount with its medieval castle and church, standing off shore in Mount’s Bay will provide a visit to remember. A perfect holiday area.
