This beautifully refurbished semi-detached stone house is set on the edge of Redruth, but only a five minute walk into the town.
Granite House is ideally located for touring all of Cornwall and is perfect for a varied family holiday with excellent transport links to get around the county.
You enter into the tiled hallway with the cosy sitting room boasting a welcoming open fire on the right, before carrying on to the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area.
From here you can head outside and up a few steps to a wonderful gated and totally secluded garden, with a superb decked area, a perfect sun-trap.
Head upstairs and you will find three comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The pedestrianised town of Redruth is lined with Victorian architecture reaching above the modern independent shops.
It is home to a cinema and many pubs, cafes and restaurants which are all found a few minutes’ walk from the house.
Attractions close by include the mineral tramway mining trails and the impressive Carn Brea hill which looks proudly down on the county and features a castle and the Basset Monument.
Being so central makes the cottage ideally situated for visits to both north and south coasts, whilst closer to home, Tehidy Country Park is a must for everyone with delightful woodland walks right next to the stunning north coast.
There is so much to see and do in Cornwall, making this lovely house a great base for a Cornish holiday at any time of year.

Redruth is a small town in Cornwall, dating in parts from the 12th century. It was once the centre of Cornish mining history and is now at the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is a selection of shops, pubs and eateries, and the town holds a variety of continental markets throughout the year. Attractions close to Redruth include the Carn Brea Trail, The Great Flat Load, which is fantastic for cyclist and dog walkers alike, Tolgus Tin Stream Works, and the Tehidy Country Park. The beach at Portreath is a 10 minute drive, or just over 2 miles from Redruth. The entire stunning North coast is a suburb playground for surfing and all water sports. And with resorts such as St Ives, Falmouth, the Roseland Peninsula and the whole Lizard Peninsula within easy reach. A superb destination for your Cornish holiday.
