Beautifully furnished, lovely bathroom, extremely well equipped kitchen. Lots of lovely little touches in the apartment. The owners provide a very comprehensive list of advice for use of equipment. All in all very comfortable & great location with safe parking. Can’t fault it.

There was coffee tea sugar already there. Every cupboard had something useful in it I could go on for ever. The best self catering we've stayed.

  • "This is a lovely, well-appointed property."

It had absolutely everything we might have needed, except a small milk jug, which we were very happy to supply and leave behind! Clean and comfortable with beautiful views across the creek; it had the convenience of seaside town life and the tranquility always valued on holiday. Looe is a lively place, but we weren’t bothered by noise, except the seagulls which we chose to view as atmospheric. The arrangements were clear and worked well. A return trip to Looe would definitely see us renting here again.

Views of the river and beautiful town of Looe can be enjoyed from the living room and bedroom. This is an exceptionally clean and well equipped apartment, adding to our enjoyment. Thanks to the owner for the cream tea awaiting our arrival, a great start!

  • "An excellent well appointed apartment with secure parking close to the town and harbour."

Convenient for visiting Cornwall and the Cornwall/Devon border. As others have commented, the public car park and pedestrian route into the town might intrude in season, but there are good views to the river beyond from the second floor lounge window. Very helpful information from the owner received prior to arrival.

  • "The apartment was brilliant."

Fantastic facilities. Great location for closeness to the town centre and ease of getting around. Views out of the windows just lovely. Use of the secure Parking space was very convenient. A great stay. Just one downside was the thoroughfare for a few noisy pedestrian walking back from the pubs early hours right outside the windows. But maybe we were just unlucky that week. All in all great.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need and more! The beds were comfortable, the bedding good quality. The bathroom was immaculate. The gates made it feel very secure even with lots of holidaymakers about. The location was also fab. About the location

LOOE

Polperro 5 miles.

Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. You can also catch the river taxi between East and West Looe. East Looe has narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Looe’s viewpoint, Banjo Pier, can be reached from the quay and is a great spot to watch the returning fishing trawlers and look across the bay to Looe Island, which can be walked to occasionally at very low tides. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. There is also a great rock pool area at Hannafore that children will love. West Looe has a Heritage Centre that recently opened in the Old Sardine Factory with a climbing wall and a cafe and the delightful Kilminorth Woods have way marked walks through the majestic oak wood, rich in plant, insect and bird life. Apart from beach activities in this part of south east Cornwall, there are many mining remains on Bodmin Moor and in the Tamar Valley and much of the mining landscape has World Heritage status. This area of Cornwall has inspired writers, such as Daphne du Maurier and much of Bodmin Moor has inspired legends linked with King Arthur. There is much to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
