Location: Mabe Near Falmouth

Falmouth 4 miles; Truro 8 miles.

A small hamlet just 4 miles from the maritime town and harbour of Falmouth. The surrounding countryside offers rolling fields, country lanes and misty, atmospheric creeks that wind their way inland from the sea through deep, wooded valleys. The area is perfect for lovers of breathtaking countryside, for messing about in boats and for long country walks. Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (3rd largest in the world), winding streets and beaches will keep you occupied for hours. Its old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, Pendennis Castle and the stunning new National Maritime Museum complete the picture. Across the harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

Previous visitors' comments about Trevone Farm Barn:

The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. There is a great 4 mile circular run from cottage along country lanes.
Mr Stanley, Stockport, July 2011

Trevone Farm Barn is in a nice private location. Helpful, friendly grounds keeper. Good heating upstairs and lots of hot water. Good parking space for cars. Bedrooms are nicely presented. Nice large dining area and breakfast kitchen.
Miss Mahoney, York, February 2011

We had a fabulous holiday, 5 adults and 2 children in a very relaxing area. The on site caretaker, Will, was extremely helpful.
Mr Meaden, Solihull, August 2010

The place is lovely and very well situated - close to many beautiful places north, south and west. We reached everything within a short time and could spend more time outside the car. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!
